Maintain Uniform, Certifications, Credentials, Identification diligence always during shift.

Manage access and protection in security areas including gates, docks, patrol, and visitor.

Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in security.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Uses a collective team-based approach to promote mutual problem solving within the department, and proactively anticipates and resolves issues.

Investigates, resolves and reports disturbances utilizing non-violent interventions. Documents and reports incidents in accordance with established Protection Services procedures.

Utilizes and operates photo identification, access control, CCTV and other security systems programs.

Provides pre/post flight safety inspections of heliports following appropriate departmental procedures.

Maintains a daily log of events and prepares detailed reports.

Communicates with the on-call leadership after business hours regarding emergent issues, as required.

Must be proficient, diplomatic, effective and have demonstrated both oral and written communication skills using English.

Basic math skills are required.

Analytical ability and critical thinking

1+ year of security experience and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement

Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED

Valid Class G Driver's License with clean driving record

Capable of standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time

Patrol assigned area on foot to ensure personal, building, and equipment security

Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure security and monitors closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities

Strong administration, project management, and multi-tasking skills.

Duties as otherwise assigned by the Security Manager/Senior Management

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Clear English communication skills in all areas (verbal and written)

A proven background with minimum of 2 years security experience in a commercial

Previous Supervisory experience in a Security related setting would be an asset

Previous work experience or background in military or law enforcement may replace formal education requirements

Performs various administrative tasks which include: answering phones, relaying messages, data entry, etc.

Experience working in distress and/or high-stress situations, which may include emergency response.

Experience in the human services field would be an asset

Experience working in a shift work environment preferred

Experience with CCTV, access control systems and fire response systems is a must

All duties and responsibilities normally performed by site security personnel;

Daily supervision of Security Personnel, oversee scheduling requirements, security assignments, incident reporting and patrols;

Complete daily supervisory inspections as detailed by the Security Manager;

Assist the Security Manager with training and development of Security Personnel;

Any other tasks as directed by the Security Manager and/or General Manager.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in retail environment;

Monitors floor traffic: watches for suspicious activity, communicates with management and surveillance

Minimum of 1 year Security Supervisory experience

Minimum 2 years Security Guard experience

Strong communication skills in English

Must be able to provide coaching, training, and update site Manager on new trainees progress

Previous security experience in healthcare industry would be an asset

Review Post orders and provide updates to Manager for review

Minimum of 2 years security experience in a fast paced environment

Gatehouse experience considered an asset

Security Supervisor experience considered an asset

Required Education, Qualifications And Experience

Communicates with operations center and managers regarding scheduling and guard issues.

Communicates important problems, concerns and deficiencies to site manager.

Possess excellent multi-tasking, problem solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities.

Have knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and BC Employment Standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by manager or client services manager.

Manage contracted and in-house guards for CG Winnipeg Manufacturing Facilities

Manage daily reporting and patrols through the TrackTik platform

Related experience in Security Supervision

Experience with on-call and call-in work

Proven leadership skills with the innate ability to take initiative

Knowledge of all building maintenance and safe operation practices

Dealing with Client requirements on-site & reporting to ASP Manager

Standard First Aid with AED/CPR level C, must maintain the certification, ASP offers recertification at no cost

Must be able to demonstrate strong report writing skills and possess knowledge of report writing essentials
