2-3 years experience in real estate development, construction, project management or engineering environment

Superior organizational and time management skills in order to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines

Ability to develop excellent relationship management skills with team, municipal staff and consultant team.

Support Development and Project Management staff as required with day-to-day project tracking and client deliverables.

Extensive use of MS Office Suite of tools and preferred project management technology platforms

Lead the preparation of various Consultant and Construction Management RFPs and prepare analysis of submissions and provide guidance on completeness.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive planning experience, including 5+ years in a senior role with project management responsibilities

Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as proven project management skills

Consulting background as a lead planner / project manager responsible for private development planning applications is preferred

Previous experience in providing expert testimony as a Professional Planner at the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) is an asset

Sound knowledge and understanding of current provincial, inter-regional, regional, and local planning issues

Build strong positive relationships while working with your hard-working team and directing communications with clients, municipal staff and review agencies

Project management experience managing multiple and various types of projects, priorities and deadlines

Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills

Assist and/or collaborate with the senior management team and external stakeholders to prepare project planning, budgeting and identification of resources required

Provide accurate and relevant data on project progress to the senior management team

Assist and/or manage the tender program, review and provides recommendations to the senior management team on all bid summaries

Assist in the selection and management of any required sub-trades for a project and manage internal or external contractors or trades

Intermediate-level experience in preparing site services and grading plan

Must have 4+ years of Canadian experience

Demonstrated computer skills with sound knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, data base and presentation applications.

Monitors and manages a varied and heavy workload to maintain processing schedules.

Participates in data entry and compiling of development permit documents and records.

Performs data and records research from multiple sources such as property files and computer systems (BlueBeam, PRISM, POSSE, DOMINO, and VanMap).

Minimum 10+ years’ experience in design and management of land development projects.

Actively engage with clients, architects, planners and other industry leaders to generate awareness of GHD and its capabilities.

Manage project schedules, budgets and invoicing, initiating any necessary actions to achieve established financial targets.

Ensure that project design records and files are effectively managed.

Strong analytical and report writing skills.

Prepare budgets, proposals, costs estimates, schedules and lead proposal preparation.
