Strong presentation and communication skills (with experience interacting with senior leaders in both large and small organizations)

Prepare fee schedules including calculation of management and waterfall, ensuring all calculations observe applicable fund documents

University Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience preferably in fund accounting

Prepare reconciliations of cash, positions, and accruals of client funds managed within the team

Computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is an asset.

Advanced investigative, and problem solving skills

Prepare pricing of portfolios ensuring all holdings are priced observing the applicable fund documents and valuation policies

Governance, management and control - Ensuring statutory duties and governance are undertaken with appropriate diligence;

Exposure to all aspects of the business, cross-jurisdiction and to working with senior management directly.

3-6 years of financial accounting and reporting experience;

Industry and/or partnership accounting experience 3+ years;

Strong Excel and data analytical skills;

Good written and verbal communications skills;

Excellent time-management skills, organized and task-oriented, with an ability to respond in a timely fashion to donor inquiries and team communications.

Working knowledge of content management software, including Asana, WordPress, Adobe CC, and minor video editing is strongly desired.

Any other tasks as required by management.

Working with event staff to secure sponsorship and manage sponsor relations.

Managing a database that includes data entry, record maintenance and documentation.

Post-secondary degree or certificate in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or previous experience in a communications or social media role.

Perform research and resolution on exception items; escalate unresolved issues to management as needed

Demonstrate progression of process knowledge and understanding of all relevant functional activities in the team

Manage own development by engaging in the PPR process, seeking feedback from others and by attending mandated and relevant training

Complete subscription, redemptions, transfer forms and other fund of funds investment related documents

Deliver services in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and ensure that assigned work is performed to meet internal standards

Resolve routine problems using own initiative and escalate complex issues as needed

Bachelor's degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline with 1-4 years of relevant experience

Hands on experience with mammalian cell culture

Knowledge of downstream process development and/or analytical sciences is an asset

Execute upstream process development studies through high throughput screening methodologies and scale up to bench and pilot scale operations

Perform routine protein analytical techniques e.g. SDS-PAGE, ELISA

Author process development reports, organize and interpret results, and present data at meetings

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

3+ years' experience in an accounting role, preferably at a Big 4, PE firm or fund administrator
