On call from Monday to Friday, according to the operational needs of the City's Public Safety Department

Enforce municipal by-laws pertaining to parking, public nuisance, garbage and animal control.

Inform and/or issue tickets to violators of by-laws.

Sorting and distribution of mail and office supplies, including interoffice, couriers and overnight mail

Work in conjunction with the Facilities Supervisor and building management to oversee office work orders (e.g. maintenance requests)

Proactively manage meeting room conflicts, such as meetings running long or double bookings

Working with the Office Services Manager to oversee messenger services, mail deliveries and other office services requests.

Assist the Conference Services Manager with ordering and delivery of all kitchen supplies

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a receptionist or administrative support role in a busy, corporate setting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
