Building Science Project Coordinator Jobs

Assist Project Manager(s) with Building Condition Assessments (BCAs) on a diverse range of new and existing buildings across several market sectors.

2+ years of experience in building sciences, engineering or architecture, focusing on Building Condition Assessments or Reserve Fund Study planning;

Mechanical / Electrical Inspection experience is an asset;

An excellent communicator, with strong verbal, written and presentation skills in the English language;

In-depth knowledge of building materials and constructions processes for construction and/or repairs building envelopes;

Contribute to the preparation of thorough, accurate and concise reports, including detailed cost estimates based on real-world data.

Attend workshops, classes, seminars, and other courses to develop strong technical knowledge and expertise in Building Enclosures.

Work toward increasing your expertise and technical knowledge.

Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant Building Science work experience.

Have experience and ability to working at heights (ladder, swing stage, man-lifts, etc.).

Excellent competence in written and verbal communication skills in English (French is an asset).

Excellent teamwork and communication skills for relationships and customer service.

Make contributions to company knowledge management and practice systems;

Manage the contract administration and quality of restoration projects at the construction stage;

Minimum of 5 years of experience in building sciences, engineering or architecture;

In-depth knowledge of building materials and constructions processes for design and/or repairs of roofs and / or building envelopes;

An excellent communicator, with strong verbal, written and presentation skills.

Oversee construction projects and deliver cutting-edge building science services, including restoration engineering and building envelope design and renewal;

Project management and contract administration

Experience in writing specifications and tender documents

Construction experience is an asset

Experience with preparing Building Condition Assessments is an asset

Assist in performing condition assessments of multi-residential, commercial, and institutional facilities and preparation of reports and reserve fund studies

Assist in performing leak investigations of all aspects of building envelope; roofs, walls, windows and foundations
