We’re looking for a self-starting, creative UX Intern to join our Athlon Studio team.

• Currently enrolled in a program related to digital design

• Portfolio or Project Work that we can access

Required skills include proficiency in graphic design tools and basic prototyping tools

Experience in designing mobile applications and websites will be an additional advantage

We are looking for someone interested in interning in the UX/UI design department

The internship will last for a period of 3 months

The candidate should have a high-quality portfolio that showcases projects in the field of UX/UI design

Assist in the research, design, and prototyping of user interfaces and experiences

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of web and mobile design best practices is a plus

Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing is a plus

Knowledge of User Centered Design principles, Information Architecture, Design Thinking, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent

Knowledge Preferred of Sketch, InVision, Axure, Adobe Suite, or equivalent

You have education in Digital Design, UX Design, Design Thinking, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent.

Duration of term: Fall 2023 term (September - December). 4 month opportunities available

Experience working directly with both internal and external developers, project managers, and product owners

Participate in peer reviews of design work to evaluate design techniques and overall success in meeting the compelling user experience objectives

Taking business and stakeholder needs and requirements and translating them into of design executions in Figma

Existing design portfolio, demonstrating wide-range of your talents and capabilities –from responsive web design to mobile application - and beyond

You have knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, Material UI, etc.
