Vfx Editor Freelance Jobs in British Columbia

• 3+ years’ experience in video game production and or film production experience.

• UE5 knowledge is an asset.

Hybrid is defined as 3 days.

• Ability to create, manipulate 3d and 2.5d elements to complement matte painted midgrounds and backgrounds.

• Expertise in visual composition and lighting design.

• Deep understanding of colour, tone and lighting.

Experience working with Shotgun asset manager, knowledge of Nuke would be beneficial

Education or knowledge of post-production (editorial and/or visual effects)

Collaborate with the VFX Producer, Production Manager, Artists and Coordinators

Manage edits of sequences and shots, create sequence edits for internal and client approvals

Manage client delivery schedules and creative needs

At least 3 years of editing experience in films, TV series and/or VFX industry
