Overview Vehicle Technicians are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles. They must be knowledgeable in the latest automotive technology and have the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical issues. Vehicle Technicians are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles. They must be knowledgeable in the latest automotive technology and have the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical issues. Vehicle Technicians must also be able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and repairing vehicles using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
• Inspecting vehicles for safety and performance issues
• Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance
• Communicating with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
