Truck Trailer Technician Jobs

Two years of verifiable mechanic experience.

Base rate $36-$37 - up to $40 an hour for the afternoon shift.

Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm OR 2 pm to 10:30 pm

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Tool allowance after 1 year of service.

Boot allowance after 1 year of service.

Is able to perform basic rigging responsibilities

Ensures that all Mammoet, customer, provincial and federal safety requirements are met

Previous experience with heavy or over-dimensional highway transport loads is necessary

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Conduct all business in a professional, respectful manner

Following typical Mammoet methods, builds trailers using basic hand tools to prepare for heavy hauling projects

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:

Sales experience with truck and trailer or a related field

Knowledge of the heavy duty truck industry

Motivated self-starter with excellent inter-personal and communication skills

Knowledge and ability to use computers and information technology efficiently.

Above average organizational skills are a must for this position

Diagnosis and repair of the mechanical and electrical components of heavy-duty trucks by testing the truck's systems and components

Drive the vehicle for testing purposes

Must be able to use power tools and common hand tools to perform their work

Demonstrates the ability to plan and prioritize work and material requirements and operate independently.

Demonstrated good interpersonal and oral communication skills.

CVIP certification is required(Journeyman only).

Computer keyboarding skills and a basic understanding of computer business systems are required.

$2.00 shift premium for afternoons

Journeyman rate $43.87 per hour, plus shift premium.

5 days on and 2 off - 3 days on and 4 off; 2 pm to 12:30 am

**Applicants require a valid Canadian Class 1 license, Driving Abstract, and experience in manual transmissions.**

Maintain driver logbook and complete onsite paperwork

Journeyman starting at $38.56/hour, plus $1.25 afternoon and $ 2.00 night shift premium after 6 pm.

Wednesday to Saturday 2:00 pm to 12:30 am, Monday to Thursday 8:30 pm to 7:00 am

Trailer repair- PMs, electrical work, brakes, suspension & product pump rebuild.

Basic tools required for the position.

Work safely, using directed PPE.
