Inspecting railcars received from CN, applying hand brakes, bleeding air, etc.
Prepare the railcars for loading and unloading

Connecting/disconnecting hoses from railcars and transload pumps, augers, and meters

Transload Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight from trucks, railcars, and other transportation vehicles. They must be able to accurately track and document freight movement, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. This includes inspecting freight for damage, verifying that the correct freight is being loaded or unloaded, and ensuring that all freight is properly secured. Transload Operators must also be able to operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading and unloading equipment.
