Two years of verifiable mechanic experience.
Starting pay:$32 to $35 per hour plus shift premiums
($5/hr shift premiums for weekend shift )
Evening 3 pm - 1:30 am (Monday - Thursday) or Weekend Shift 7 am-7:30 pm (Friday to Sunday)
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Tool allowance after 1 year of service

Overview A Trailer Mechanic is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and inspecting trailers and other related equipment. They diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems, inspect and adjust brakes, and perform other maintenance tasks. Detailed Job Description A Trailer Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining trailers and other related equipment. They must be able to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems, inspect and adjust brakes, and perform other maintenance tasks. They must also be able to inspect and repair trailer frames, axles, and suspension systems. They must be able to use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs. Job Skill Requirements
• Knowledge of trailer repair and maintenance
• Knowledge of trailer frames, axles, and suspension systems
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in trailer repair and maintenance
• A valid driver’s license
• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required
