Traffic Marshall Jobs in Nova Scotia

Must have an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency;

Must have over one (1) year of Construction experience in inspection, surveying and construction material testing in a municipal environment;

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in underground sewer or utility location;

Completion of courses sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Skills Development (Total Station Surveying, AutoCAD) will be considered an asset;

Exceptional organizational and leadership skills

Stop, slow and safety direct traffic inside and outside the warehouse.

Protect employees and sub contractors in the loading zone by safely directing the oncoming drivers.

Give signals clearly to the drivers to stop or slow down when required.

Ensure that everyone follows the safety standards.

Escalate special cases to supervisors.

Superior time management skills, with an ability to prioritize and multi task in a fast paced environment

Post secondary education or previous experience in Broadcasting, Media, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is considered an asset

Manage formats – commercial loads (adhering to any regulations), promotional elements, viewer advisories, described video announcements

Previous experience using a traffic system (S4M) environment is preferred

Previous experience working as a Traffic Coordinator or Ad Ops is an asset but not required

Excellent organizational skills, with an aptitude for meeting deadlines under pressure
