Trade Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Jobs

Experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of equipment and machinery.

Previous experience with repair and preventive maintenance on Forklifts. Container Handlers considered and asset.

Experience with welding and fabrication would be considered an asset.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Performing systematic inspections of company assets to ensure they are in safe operating condition.

Overhauling and repairing company assets to return them to safe operating condition.

Experience with routine maintenance operations.

Experience working on Heavy Duty Trucks is a plus.

Diagnose complex issues and efficiently plan and execute vehicle repairs.

Perform basic care maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and oil changes.

Receive work assignments through oral or written work orders and determine the nature and extent of required repairs.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment, including handheld and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers.

Physically fit and capable of performing job requirements

Trade Journeyman Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport

Valid BC Driver’s License, Minimum Class 5, Class 1 or 3 with air is preferred, positive driving record
