Overview Test is a job role that involves the evaluation and verification of products, services, and systems to ensure that they meet the required standards of quality. This role requires an individual to have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. Detailed Job DescriptionThe Test job role involves the evaluation and verification of products, services, and systems to ensure that they meet the required standards of quality. This role requires an individual to have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. The Test job role involves the following tasks:
• Developing and executing test plans and test cases
• Analyzing test results and providing feedback
• Identifying and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• Documenting and reporting test results
• Working with developers to resolve issues
• Developing automated tests
• Ensuring that products meet customer requirements
Skill Requirements
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of software testing techniques and tools
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Certification in software testing (e.g. ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) is preferred
Knowledge
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of software testing techniques and tools
• Knowledge of software quality assurance best practices
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, etc.)
Experience
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases
• Experience in troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• Experience in developing automated tests
Responsibilities
