Syndicated Loan Analyst Jobs

Working knowledge of loan management software and investment industry experience

System Expertise: Become a subject-matter expert in accounting systems, specifically SimCorp Dimension (SCD) and Precision Loan Management (PLM).

Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

3+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices, principles, and frameworks including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ability to use various Excel functions to build spreadsheets and manipulate/analyze large datasets

Compile and analyze data for management and regulatory reporting ;

Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management;

Provide analysis and support to financial planning, budgeting and forecasting and manage cash flow forecasting for various entities;

Manage posting for full and partial repayments/discharges in the system while coordinating with the underwriting & funding team; and

Assist the Director, Finance with annual testing of the Business Continuity Disaster Recovery Plan; and

Assist the Director, Finance with annual reviews of various contracts, including insurance, and third-party suppliers

Effectively convey complex information and financial data in a clear and concise manner to senior management

Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels within the organization

Well-developed quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

Determine how RBC Capital Markets can be best positioned to capitalize on current market and industry trends

Analyze portfolio data (credit risk, client revenue, capital, etc.) to drive strategy and business planning for the Corporate and Investment Bank

Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Proficient in MS Excel and MS Sharepoint.

General proficiency with computer systems and softwares.

Motivated mentality, strong sense of urgency, and comfortable voicing ideas on how to improve processes.

12 month contract + possible extensions or convert to perm

Education, certification and designation requirements:

Manage and monitor accounts requiring special handling – Special Loans Accounts/Daily Cash Sweep Accounts/Construction- Real Estate accounts

Knowledge of lending products, rate-setting methods and payment methods

Strong organizational and problem solving skills; detail oriented

Excellent written and oral communication skills
