Knowledge of WHMIS requirements, hazards and safety practices relating to paint crew activities;

Gain and maintain knowledge of CARs as related to aircraft maintenance;

Knowledge of all safety rules governing the work performed;

Must maintain the requirements for a safe fit test of their respirator;

Formal training in aircraft refinishing (or equivalent training and experience;

Prepare and remove paint on aircraft surfaces, parts, components, and assemblies;

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience with different finishes and OEM requirements including 1K, 2K, clear, base, prime etc.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive painter - required

Experience with paint line systems and programming of paint robots - required

Proven knowledge of painting and finishing techniques for automotive parts

Working knowledge of robot programming for automated paint process
