Strategic Sourcing Store Supplies Mgr Jobs

A minimum of 1 year of recent* experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor of a customer-facing, service environment.

Degree, diploma or certificate in business or retail management or successful completion of a supervisory/leadership course.

Experience must include direct accountability for achieving and driving sales.

Experience working in a retail or hospitality environment.

Experience in an environment with annual sales in excess of $1 million.

Experience with visual presentation standards and KPIs.

Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement management with up to $50M spend.

Experience in best practices including category playbook, total cost of ownership, cost modeling, supplier relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.

Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and materials management principles and best practices.

Proficiency using formal strategic sourcing processes, category management, and supplier relationship management methods.

Demonstrated ability to influence all levels of staff and management without formal decision-making authority.

Strong negotiating skills; excellent understanding of terms and conditions of development, supply and inventory agreements.

2-3 years of previous visual display and merchandising experience or management

Manage all visual aspects of the business including visual, display, merchandising and floorset execution

Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills

Superior critical thinking skills to creatively identify challenges and develop action plans in a timely manner

Own the business by identifying opportunities, developing and executing strategies and protect Company assets

Certification in supply chain management (SCMP designation, or equivalent from another professional organization in Supply Chain such as APICS).

Experience with international vendor management and inbound logistics is highly preferred.

Own the creation of supply plans for assigned product categories, including data analysis, forecasting, and inventory management.

4 year post-secondary degree or equivalent, preferably in a related field: supply chain management, purchasing, logistics, operations management, business management.

Ensure on-time delivery of shoppers and supplies shipment to stores, and successful execution of product launches and pull-backs.

3-5 years’ supervisory/ managerial experience required

Duties and responsibilities include, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education required

Effective verbal and written communication skills;

Responsible for overseeing Supervisors, Cell Leaders, Process Technicians and Associates to ensure safety, quality and productivity.

Mentors staff in general team leadership skills, project management skills, internal Company processes, and for project specific tasks.

May review Protocol, Data Management Plan, CRF and Edit Check Specifications to ensure consistency across documentation

May represent Clinical Data Management at Business Development and Sponsor-related meetings with support from the Associate Director/Director.

May perform training for data management staff to internal and external audiences as required

Maintains proficiency in Data Management systems and processes through regular training.

Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred, or RN. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree or RN, equivalent related education and experience.
