Stations Construction Compliance Lead Jobs in British Columbia

Good understanding of Project Management processes.

A minimum ten (10) years of experience in a relevant engineering field or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of company ’s project delivery processes and design practice is an asset.

Site experience on large construction projects such as hydroelectric generation stations, dams, transmission substations, or transmission lines is an asset.

Intermediate English skills for professional environment, written and spoken

Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

6 years of Trades supervisory experience or management experience is considered necessary.

Assist in developing training for all staff to reach and maintain competent skill levels.

Possesses effective verbal and written communications skills.

Monitor work progress through review of assignments to subordinates and conduct spot check of jobs. Authorize corrective action where necessary.

Ensure that all required training is identified, implemented, monitored and recorded.

Ensure that the supervisor and other functional staff are aware of any special circumstances in the work areas.

• Experience in project management including estimating, cost control and project

• This role requires experience with the design of electrical utility generation systems and

demonstrated experience working with utility design solutions in an electric utility

• Prepare commissioning test plans and summary of requirements documentation.

• 10-15 years of progressive oil and gas environment industrial experience including management of environment offset programs.

• Excellent people management skills.

• Develop and integrate the asset environmental management system as a component of the asset management system.

• Liaise with the Execute Environmental Compliance Lead to develop and implement the asset compliance management system.

• Put in place and manage environmental monitoring contracts to meet internal and external compliance requirements.

• Assist HSSE manager with management of the environmental and compliance aspects of the HSSE budget.
