Overview A Stage Manager is responsible for the overall production of a theatrical performance. They are the liaison between the director, actors, and crew, and are responsible for the smooth running of the show. They are also responsible for the safety of the cast and crew, and for ensuring that all technical aspects of the production are in order. They must be able to work with a variety of personalities and be able to handle any problems that may arise during the production. They must be able to coordinate the rehearsal and performance schedules, and be able to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
