Prefer applicants with 2-to-5 years of ON Air experience – preferably Radio

Excellent knowledge of digital media, specifically audio and broadcast

Write hourly National News roundups wrapping up the top stories

Prepare and deliver a solid, contemporary newscast.

This position involves shift work, including evenings and weekends and the number of hours worked will vary

The position also will provide the opportunity to work some shifts in the National Audio Studio

Minimum of three years of experience in print journalism

Excellent writing skills in French, including impeccable spelling

Excellent knowledge of Quebec and Canadian societies and their social and political structures

The Canadian Jewish News is looking for a full-time news reporter based in Toronto.

The successful candidate for this position:

Come up with original story ideas and produce original stories that you will shoot and edit

Prior crypto reporting and editing experience is a MUST;

Passion for all things crypto, tech, and finance but with healthy skepticism;

Sound experience in live presentation and broadcast.

Part-time 30.4 hours per week

$75K - $92K (pro rata) Plus 15.4% Nominated Super

Ability to anchor a newscast would be an asset but not a requirement.
