Supports in-house education, promotion and awareness programs relating to improving Major Projects quality management strategies and practices.

A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible pipeline related engineering experience, including at least two years of quality management.

Experience with Assessing Company, Engineering Consultants’ and Construction Contractors’ quality management for projects

Assess Company, Engineering Consultants’ and Construction Contractors’ quality management efforts.

Directs and assist in the implementation of quality management systems.

Assists and provides advice regarding the development and management of consultant and contractor quality plans.

Certification as lead auditor or in a special process like NDE, Welding, Heat Treatment, etc. would be considered as an asset.

Minimum of 6 years of related experience in a quality assurance, oversight/surveillance and auditing environment;

Understanding of the design, fabrication, assembly, testing and installation practices in order to assess capabilities of manufacturer's facilities;

Knowledge of inspection to specification, production planning and scheduling, QA, designing, and dealing with people on controversial matters;

Experience in the commercial aspects of contracts, contract law and business administration;

Strong oral and written English-language communication and listening skills to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts;

Support sales, customers, quality, and asset management in resolving parts-related issues.

5+ years’ of quality experience

Experience handling customer complaints, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes.

Detail-oriented, with proven skills in multiple areas of the distribution center
