Software Quality Assurance Engineer Intern Jobs in British Columbia

You have experience writing code in C++ and understand object oriented programming paradigm

You will develop features for a cross-platform game

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree granting program

You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2024

Partner with product management and user experience teams to design user-centric solutions to simplify corporate travel management

Project-driven experience: gain cross-functional skills from our virtual and in-person learning sessions, diverse subject matter experts, and project deliverables.

2+ years of experience in Golang, Kotlin, Java, C#, C++, Swift, React, Redux, GraphQL or equivalent language

Experience delivering solutions in cloud native architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, Envoy, Vault)

AWS experience with tools including EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS, Dynamo, Redis

Strong knowledge of test management tools such as Jira and experience working in an Agile environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Fully remote, but preference will be given to candidates located in metro Vancouver.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.

2-3 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in testing web applications.

Hands-on experience with test automation tools like TestRail and Playwright.

Prior internship(s), work experience, and/or extracurricular activities preferred

Strong Excel and Word skills

Current student enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.

Highly motivated, positive attitude and goal orientated
