Overview Software Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. They use programming languages and development tools to create software solutions that meet customer requirements. They also work with other engineers and software developers to ensure that the software meets the customer’s needs. Software Engineers must be able to analyze customer requirements and develop software solutions that meet those requirements. They must also be able to troubleshoot and debug software applications.
