At least 1 previous Software Engineering internship or equivalent relevant experience

At least 1 previous internship or equivalent practical experience

Experience with Python, Javascript, or a similar dynamic programming language through internships, personal projects (GitHub), or coding competitions

Create novel solutions to real-world business challenges using emerging technologies focused in the area of generative AI

Build sample code / applications and, as appropriate, provide contributions back to relevant open source projects (both internal and external)

Work with people with diverse expertise including engineering, applied research, investment and marketing

Proficiency in Python and exposure to relevant libraries such as Langchain and LlamaIndex

Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts and familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models

Ability to plan and execute short, focused projects with specific deliverables (working code, documentation and blog posts)

The continued development of our mobile/web platform

Contributing to solving challenges for our social media app

Actively participate in weekly meetings

We are currently seeking Software Engineering Interns to join our team.

As an intern, you will play a vital role in :

Energetic, technical, and equipped with the skills and knowledge to drive results.

Work closely with different teams across engineering, data, investments, finance, and other teams throughout the firm

Proven knowledge of at least one high-level programming language and its framework (Python, C#, C++, Java, etc.)

Excellent communication, problem solving, and organization skills with a proactive, positive attitude.

Passion for new technologies through personal projects and commitment to learning new skill.

Support your team in the development of software based on agreed projects and platforms.

3+ months of programming experience in C, C++, or Python.

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

At least one course in digital logic

Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, propose solutions and improvements, etc. Escalate issues and provide status updates

Residing in the country where internship is offered

Working knowledge of one or more: Java, Angular, React, JS

Strong testing experience utilizing automated testing tools and frameworks

Work collaboratively on an Agile scrum team and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies 

Work with your scrum team to deliver working software frequently
