Grade 12 education or equivalent

Certificate of qualification – Mould Maker

Good English (both written and verbal) communication skills

Must possess strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to determine root cause and recommend countermeasures

Knowledge of Mould design / Function / Spot in lifters and slides

Experience assembling hot runners or injection molds is an asset.

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, including general assembly drawings to fully assemble plastic injection molds.

Ability to interpret Hot Runner electrical drawings and wire accordingly.

Ensure effective production of molds by utilizing tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, dial test indicators, and height measuring equipment.

Ability to troubleshoot issues with mold and mold components.

Presently enrolled in a Mold Maker apprenticeship or willing to start an apprenticeship.

Good organizational and time management skills

Adhere to applicable quality systems and Support the total Tycos Management System (MAFACT, WCM, ISO-9001)

College diploma in a Trade or Technical Field (i.e. Mould Maker Apprentice), or equivalent experience, an asset

Experience in the automotive industry an asset, preferably in an injection moulding environment

Previous experience as a Mould Maker, an asset

Good knowledge of mold making practices, standards and expectations

To support, implement, maintain and promote Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Initiatives, as required by related Organization security management systems procedures

Must possess a high school diploma and Mold Maker Certificate or equivalent work experience, with emphasis on injection mold manufacturing.

Five (5) years' work experience as a Mold Maker.

Sound knowledge of plastic part manufacturing and tooling

Skill set checklist required to determine technical ladder to better reflect pay within role where more than one level exists

Receiving direction from Mold Maker Supervisor for all tool builds, repairs and engineering changes.

Proven work experience as a Video Editor

Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)

Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
