An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Sheet Metal Worker Certificate of Qualification with Inter-Provincial Red Seal

A minimum of five years recent journeyperson industry experience

A minimum of one year experience in a teaching, leadership, mentoring or coaching role

A demonstrated commitment to the scholarship of teaching and learning

Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.

10 years of Mechanical Systems Experience with knowledge of Air conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration, Steam, and Hydronic Systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Receive and respond to client technical support inquiries.

Provide RFP/RFI support to potential clients accurately and efficiently.

All other duties as required.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Proven experience as a sheet metal operator, demonstrating expertise in fabrication, cutting, bending, and shaping.

Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.

Familiarity with operating various sheet metal machinery and tools.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.

Provide training to more junior level, less experienced workers

2-5+ years of previous experience with architectural metals in a commercial/industrial setting

Read blueprints and ensure design specifications are being adhered to
