Sheet Metal Fabricators Jobs in Ontario

1-2 years experience in manufacturing, aerospace preferably

Work to methods & procedures specified in writing or given by oral instructions by previous shop practice

Assemble parts in fixtures for welding, trimming g, fitting, aligning, clamping where dimensions are governed by fixtures, templates, & pre-drilled holes

Straightening, aligning, & dressing parts & assemblies

Shaping metal parts having simple radii & angles by use of hammers & form blocks

Provides detailed labor breakdowns for each area to assist with budget creation and management of project.

Participates in presentation of estimates/proposals to senior management.

Applies advanced technical experience/knowledge to interpret documentation, specifications, and design drawings.

Ability to work in a multi-trade environment with a high degree of interaction between management, estimation and field resources

Reviewing all bid documents to ensure all bid requirements are met.

Manage multiple estimates at the same time.

High School Diploma or experience relevant to the position

At least 1 year of experience as a Sheet Metal worker or Fabricator

Proven knowledge of manufacturing techniques

Effective listening & communication skills (verbal), to work collaboratively with others

Operate all metal finishing equipment (shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses) to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.

Produce sheet metal components in accordance with the Company drawing specifications.

Excellent time management and organizational Skills

Experience in CNC machines, fabrication and ARC Welding and Flux core welding, plasma cutting, semi

Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Relocation Package (up to $5K)

Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment

Operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls to cut bend, block and form or straighten materials.

High School Diploma or experience relevant to the position

Proven knowledge of manufacturing techniques
