Senior Software Designer Jobs in British Columbia

Ensure that designs adhere to local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements.

A minimum of 8 years’ relevant architectural and design experience in the Canadian Architectural Industry (BC experience preferred).

Multi-disciplinary experience, ideally high-rises, townhomes, mixed-use residential and multi-family residential.

Experience with AutoCAD and Sketchup.

Excellent communication and presenting skills.

Take the lead in Schematic Design and Design Development of a project.

Familiarity with power monitoring / energy management systems; real-time data processing; analytics will be a plus.

Think innovatively and bring their experience and insight to bear on design challenges

Experience in software development in one or more of these technologies: C#.NET, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS/Javascript, React, RESTful webservices, WCF, SQL Server

Experience with test automation environment such as Selenium or Cypress

Experience working in an agile environment

Experience with Azure cloud environment

Knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management, and contract

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role

Excellent knowledge of REVIT is required

Working knowledge of Building Codes (primarily BC, and Alberta) and their interpretations is required
