Senior Interaction Designer Jobs in Nova Scotia

Experience with computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and educational technologies (e.g., D2L) is preferred

Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment that supports the diversity of students’ cultures, educational backgrounds and learning styles

Fulfilling responsibilities as defined in the Academic Employees Collective Agreement

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, User Experience, Communications, Digital Experience Innovation, or relevant field required

Minimum five years of experience in UI/UX, communications, innovation, computer science, graphic design, digital arts, or related field

Minimum two years of adult or post-secondary teaching experience required

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.

Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

4 years of experience in product design or UX.

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.

8+ years’ experience in user experience, interaction design, or similar

Experience designing for business software, web and mobile technology

Experience working on business-to-business solutions is preferred

Experience in a corporate environment is preferred
