2-4 years of relevant public accounting experience

2+ years public company experience

Experience working with accounting and tax software such as Caseware, Taxprep, Quickbooks and Simply Accounting considered an asset

Strong knowledge of accounting software; computer skills including spreadsheets, database software, email, web browsers and experience with Great Plains is preferred

Four years of progressively responsible accounting experience and/or equivalent combination of related education and experience

General knowledge of gaming regulatory policies (as applicable), procedures and filings required for finance department preferred

Knowledge of various accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, SAGE 50, Xyntax, Adagio, etc.)

Leadership skills and the ability to guide and mentor a small team

· Will handle the finances for the smaller operations for the organization.

· A few years’ experience at a public practice firm or manufacturing company is an asset.

· Experience with an ERP system is key. (Ex: Truckmates or Oracle)

· Be extremely detail oriented, organized, and have well-developed interpersonal skills.

· Preparation of monthly financials.

· Oversee the completion of all reconciliations, payroll, AP, AR, inventory reconciling, and adjustments.
