Ensure effective documentation, solution design, thorough code review, and a high standard of data quality management

At least seven years of professional experience in Data Engineering. Past experience in Finance and Business Analytics is a plus.

At least three years experience leading a team of data engineers delivering productionalized and stable solutions/products

Experience working with Terraform and administrating infrastructure-as-code

Experience working with permissions for Snowflake and other databases for roles and users through code deployments

Experience in implementing best practices for data engineering, such as source control repositories, automated code deployments, data quality frameworks, etc.

Knowledge and understanding of Project Management's Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge.

Knowledge and understanding of Information Management (including record keeping) policies and practices.

Establishes and participates in steering committee and stakeholder forums. Provides, project, program, and/or portfolio reporting to multi-stakeholders at senior management levels.

Maintain current knowledge of relevant issues related to data management, Health Authority regulations, and competitive trends to provide input and recommendations.

Optimize data management and collection activities by reviewing protocols for cross-trial consistency and identifying standard case report form modules.

A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a pharma or biotech environment.

Experience in CNS, pediatric rare disease area and e-diary database design and implementation are preferred.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to build credibility and trust inside and outside the Company.

Proven ability to collaborate in high performing teams, excellent conflict resolution skills.

Lead discovery sessions with primary business stakeholders to obtain knowledge of business objectives, challenges, and requirements

Support the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of solution management methodologies, including obtaining feedback after the solution has been implemented

Strong knowledge of SQL and demonstrated ability to apply SQL to a wide variety of business requirements.

Support solution delivery by providing insights to the application development teams and project managers that plan and execute delivery activities

Create solution architecture documents that describe and explain solution attributes and associated benefits

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Related professional certifications and/or training is considered an asset.

Support senior management by analyzing new business opportunities and providing recommendations and support in developing business cases.

Support the roll-out of key business projects and ensure data and analytics capabilities are developed on time and on budget.

Help in data preparation for complex analytical projects.

FI is preferred as is card, payments, and loyalty.

What you will be doing…

BI Tool & Analytic Support

Working experience with SQL and knowledge of database structure/design. Visualization and programming skills (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python)

Previous working experience with data governance requirements is an asset

Familiar with data management and domain structure is preferred

Ensure business requirements are clearly, accurately and thoroughly documented and understood

Help identify data requirements based on documented business requirements

Manage and oversee the completion of Data Governance activities for AML NS/Risk Reporting projects

In-depth knowledge of AI technology, ML/AI model development, and ML/AI risk management best practices

Drive the development and delivery of communication strategies for new processes and procedures and deliver training on AI risk management

Develop and maintain AI Risk management documentation (procedures, AI risk tiering methodology, assessments, examining and reporting)

Identify opportunities and execute enhancements to the AI risk management and oversight practice

Assist with data risk management activities and participate in data risk management oversight where required

Exercise sound judgment in identifying, reporting, and escalating risks or issues to senior management

Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple project streams simultaneously

Detailed knowledge of the information needs of an investment management organization

Responsible for budget forecast and planning, periodic management reporting and ad-hoc analysis of market data, research and subscription expenses across SGAM

Lead change management surrounding market data policy implementation and regulatory changes

5+ years of managing market data within capital markets or asset management

Monitor, measure, manage and track vendor performance to ensure contract compliance and recommend vendor relationship improvements

• Lead Data Management activities and ensure study deliverables meet timelines and quality standards.

• Work to maintain/improve client satisfaction by ensuring high quality service, communication and management of clinical data.

• Working knowledge of Clinical research and Clinical trial process and related regulatory requirements and terminology.

• Ability to lead a study or data management team independently.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Develop User Acceptance Testing Plan and perform testing on data entry screens and edit checks.
