Senior Chemical Advisor Jobs

Strong chemicals and steam cracker operational experience.

Strong experience in capital project development for chemicals plants, particularly in Pre-FEED/FEED stages.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business and their integration.

Previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution for chemicals plants.

Background in refinery and chemicals integration.

Demonstrated understanding of process yields, qualities, economics, and capital efficiency.

Knowledge of technical interface management.

Track the development of Gate deliverables required for Management approval and identify areas needing additional support to meet target dates.

Knowledge and experience in Refinery-Chemicals integration.

Interface and interact with the Government Engagement, GHG Abatement, and Finance Readiness Workstreams, as well as the Project Development Group.

Possess a minimum of 15+ years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business with a focus on integration.

Have previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution.

Experience presenting to Corporate and Executive Management, the Board of Directors, and wider audiences.

Advise and guide the development of Downstream strategic goals and plans to the CEO and members of Corporate and Executive Management.

Experience in at least two of the following Downstream areas: Chemicals (preferred), refining, retail and fuels, and trading.

Global or multinational business experience with developed multicultural sensitivity.

Must have experience developing and delivering strategic insights, investment and market analysis, and business strategies for a major integrated downstream business.

Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver business strategies and plans is desirable.

Experience in infrastructure, third-party, and interface management.

Track the development of Gate deliverables necessary for Management approval and identify areas needing additional support to meet target dates.

Knowledge and experience in PIMS LP to develop and modify new or existing LP models.

Facilitate the interface and interaction between the Government Engagement, GHG Abatement, Finance Readiness Workstreams, and the Project Development Group.

Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business.

Previous experience in LP & Economics Modeling.

Actively participate in a knowledge sharing network

Minimum of 10-15 years of experience with a petrochemical or refining licensor, including developing licensing agreements and procurement strategies.

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills.

Lead activities related to the technology licensing process and procurement

Provide technical support for capital projects involving petrochemical units at various stages of execution (pre-feasibility, feasibility, basic and detailed engineering)

Lead the strategic evaluation of licensing agreements

Experience presenting to Corporate and Executive Management, the Board of Directors, and wider audiences.

Experience in at least one of the following Chemicals sectors: Basic Chemicals (Olefins or Aromatics) or Derivatives.

Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver business strategies and plans is desirable.
