Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification

Site:** Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital

Hours:** Rotating Continental (0700-1900/1900-0700 hrs.)

Working on assigned shifts, you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents.

Provide Use of Force/Restraint as required and directed under the Mental Health Act

Provide security escort service to staff and visitors as requested.

Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts

Minimum of one year of experience in a security or related role is required

Assisting with mental health patients and patrons in the hospital

Proactively responding to calls to support your team in a dynamic environment

De-escalating crisis situations and handling emergencies

Working on assigned shifts, you will work 12-hour shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents

Experience working in a Hospital Setting would be an asset

Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment.

Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

Hiring 1 Full Time and 1 Part Time (Floater) Candidate

Open availability, including weekends is required

NVCI and Handcuffing and Baton certifications an asset

Previous healthcare ,security or dispatch experience is a plus

Patrol inside and outside the hospital to ensure the safety of people and property and the maintenance of order

Protect patients, member of the public, hospital staff, as well as their belongings and public assets

Enforce safety procedures and standards

Escort and assist anyone as needed including to the morgue
