Renal Technician Jobs

Participates on designated programs and professional committees, care conferences and councils as assigned, or as agreed to with the Manager.

Documents assessments, nursing diagnosis, observations, interventions, patient/family responses, outcomes/evaluations, and referrals according to practice standards and Fraser Health procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Clinical proficiency in the designated clinical area.

Ability to initiate and maintain intravenous therapy.

Ability to recognize acuity changes.

Thorough knowledge of project management processes with a solid understanding of how to craft and manage a project budge

Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall coordination and management of clinical trials from start up through closeout activities.

Ensure appropriate communication on project-related matters with the PM Management

Perform other duties as assigned by management

4+ years' Clinical Project Management (demonstrating expertise within Renal/Rare Renal) required within a CRO setting is preferred

Define and manage project resource needs in conjunction with functional heads and establish contingency plans for key resources

Successful completion of Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course required.

CRNM registration/eligibility for registration required.

Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

Bilingualism required (ability to understand and speak English/French)**

Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

Day shifts are between the hours of 0730 and 1545

Experience with Time Capture and SuccessFactors/Human Resource management systems is an asset

Proficient key boarding skills with extensive experience in Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat

Excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks

Minimum of three years secretarial experience required

Previous experience in healthcare preferred

Financial statement reconciliation experience preferred

Participates in the purchase of new renal equipment in collaboration with the Manager, Clinical Operations and Biomedical Engineering staff.

Maintains current knowledge of renal equipment through reviewing related journals and literature, attending training courses and/or conferences as required.

Assists in preparing patients for treatment; transfers patients to/from waiting rooms and/or HandyDART pick up areas.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to deal with others effectively.
