Remote Handling Mechanical Engineer Jobs

Product Roadmaps: Defining and scoping out the product specs required to bring a vision to life

Architecture Specs: Working on the most difficult product architecture issues escalated by more junior members of the team

Process Improvements: Designing process improvements for how our technical product and engineering teams operate

Support the Business Development Team (BD) to effectively manage and expand existing customer relationships

Experience in Material Handling and Conveyor design

8+ years of experience in the field of specialization from graduation

Experience with multiple phases of projects including preliminary and detailed design, tendering, construction supervision and commissioning is an asset

Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Exhibit thorough understanding of pertinent codes and governing regulations and industry practices, etc.

Experience with remote handling techniques

Troubleshoot hot cell-related technical challenges using creative solutions acquired through specialized experience and training

A solid fundamental education in mechanics/mechatronics

Hands-on experience with precision mechanical assembly or equipment operation

Excellent communication skills, written and oral

Experience planning and organizing own work tasks to successfully achieve goals over a duration of a week or more

Eight to Fifteen years’ experience in the design of bulk material handling systems

Knowledge of CEMA standards, CSA standards

Knowledge of material handling software tools (Belt Analyst)

Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, other provinces/states a benefit

Assist senior engineers and branch manager with daily engineering activities.

Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section II, III, V, VIII and IX is an asset.

Knowledge of boiler, pressure vessel, and pressure piping CSA B51 code is an asset.

Knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing ASME Y14.5 standard is an asset.

3-5 years of Project Management experience in Construction industry

Ensure work is performed in compliance with applicable standards – ie. HSE regulations, company policies and procedures, and contract requirements

The Project Manager is located on site with out-of-town work (Living Out Allowance provided)

Provide leadership for assigned project in regards to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and contract performance

Maintain and continue to develop excellent time management and prioritization skills

Recognized University or College degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Maintain and continue to develop excellent communication, interaction and customer service skills

In depth knowledge of Microsoft operating system, Macintosh OS.

Maintain, continue to develop and keep current with industry standard technologies, workflows and software applications

Maintain, continue to develop and keep current with both Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows technologies, processes, networking protocols and operating systems

Experience with the development, design, and architecture of IT technology, data management, and data integration processes

Appreciated for your excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and your ability to distill complex and/or ambiguous problems into clear, actionable requirements

3-5 years experience in privacy / data protection or a graduate degree or concentration in privacy engineering

Certification in Privacy (e.g., CDPSE, CIPT, CIPM, CIPP certification)

Experience is proactively embedding privacy considerations into product design

Experience with design for software applications running on multiple platforms

5+ years of experience developing enterprise native mobile applications;

Experience with iOS and Android development is a huge asset;

Lead the architecture and development using Flutter and Dart;

Design components, maintain them and implement them by following Flutter / Dart workflows and practices;

Participate in native plugin development when needed leveraging Swift, Kotlin, Javascript, C++ or C#;

Increase our system scalability and quality;
