Strong technical experience in Refining and petrochemical industries.

Detail engineering and design experience.

Experience in facility scope basis development.

Prepare and post required month-end journal entries with adequate clear support for approval by the Finance Manager

Contribute to driving performance management processes that incorporate performance reporting and analysis and competitive benchmarking

Ability to interact with all levels of management in a professional manner

Maintain and develop tools and models for refinery performance consistent with guidance from central finance teams

Must have a bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering preferably

3-5 years of financial analysis experience is required

Experience in infrastructure, third-party, and interface management.

Track the development of Gate deliverables necessary for Management approval and identify areas needing additional support to meet target dates.

Knowledge and experience in PIMS LP to develop and modify new or existing LP models.

Facilitate the interface and interaction between the Government Engagement, GHG Abatement, Finance Readiness Workstreams, and the Project Development Group.

Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business.

Previous experience in LP & Economics Modeling.

Strong chemicals/steam cracker operational experience

Strong experience in chemicals plants capital project development, particularly Pre-FEED/FEED development

Understanding of execution and commercial experience required for the position.

Minimum of 15 years of experience with a focus in the Refining & Chemicals business and their integration

Previous experience in Project Engineering, Designing, and Execution for chemicals plants.

Background in refinery & chemicals integration

Decision making ability, planning, and time management skills

Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or equivalent in education and experience.

Ability to manage a manufacturing environment, including capability to perform effectively in high stress, emergency, and crisis situations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate across functional lines at all levels.

PC literate with word processing, database, and spreadsheet experience.

Provide, manage, and oversee technical development of hourly workforce.

Must have strong communication and collaboration skills that enables you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups.

Business Planning, Evaluation and Concept Selection

Scope Optimization and Front End Engineering and Design (FEED)

Detailed Design oversight, and Start Up/Commissioning opportunities

Within this trainee role there is also potential for special assignments related to overall process improvements for the team or site.

Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited University.

Oversee the Process Safety Management programs for Refine and Utilities

Participate in daily production meetings to remain informed and ensure that the activities of all production operations management are aligned.

Manage monthly sanitation inspections and lead, monitor and ensure corrective actions are completed as necessary.

Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning annual shutdowns for Refine and Utilities.

Work with the Safety/Environmental Manager to ensure compliance in all aspects.
