Real Estate Development Associate Jobs in Alberta

Report on property development feasibility and project cash-flow management.

Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams like property management, leasing, and development.

3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate development, investment, or finance.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.

Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with real estate modeling software such as Argus.

Post-secondary education in Urban Planning or Planning/Architectural Technology, Project Management or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Training and experience in Project Management an asset

Effective time management skills and attention to detail

Manage the external consultants working on the development applications to ensure timely delivery of materials required for the approval

Ensure administrative and regulatory duties such as rezoning, development permit, and building permits are managed promptly and efficiently

Must be knowledgeable in the municipal planning process, including zoning bylaws, statutory plans, policy plans, etc

5+ years of experience including progressively complex roles with a specific focus on corporate finance.

Chartered Financial Analyst accreditation or Graduate level education is an asset.

Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with external clients and internal teammates.

Advanced problem solving skills and ability to take initiative to find and execute innovative solutions.
