Responsible for all facets of quality for designated castings throughout the operation from core to door.

Act as the primary liaison to the customer for all communications related to their designated castings.

Access to all customer portals and DQR status for all customers is required.

Manage material certs and AS9102 reports

Assist Quality Manager in assigning, monitoring, and verifying Corrective, Preventive, Supplier, Complaint and Audit Follow up Actions (referred to as Actions).

File shipping and receiving documentation

Participates with stakeholders to develop potential actions and implementation.

Maintain a variety of data by entering new and updated information

Be a role model by following and re-enforcing safety, ESD, ITAR & QMS protocols

You will oversee offline quality inspection processes and training including specification and management of major inspection equipment and environments

You have experience deploying quality tools and systems in a manufacturing environment.

Gather the VOC and translate to measurable, controllable requirements

You will implement and manage change in a systematic manner

You have a degree in mechanical, industrial or materials engineering.

You have a robust understanding manufacturing QA & QC tools and their purpose/function from first principles:

Level 2 Weld Inspector Certification, together with 3 years’ experience

Manage NCR and CAR processes, including providing training and coaching

Direct cross functional teams to develop and approve part qualifications

Design and manage the fabrication of jigs and fixtures

Quality equipment experience (Micrometer, Vernier, fillet gauges, hardness tester)

Skilled in technical tools such as PFMEA, GD&T, AQPQ, SPC, RCA, and Poke-a yoke
