Prototype Assembler 1 Jobs

Level 3 2 Years Related Experience, High School Education/GED

Demonstrated skill and proficiency (productivity, quality and safety) in all areas of MVB.

Able to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Prototype Assembler Level 1P and 2P.

Meets the requirement of Safety, Attendance and Code of Conduct policies

Troubleshoot unusual assembly and/or wiring problems and occasionally make design change recommendations.

Accurately report task and times in Factory Talk Production Centre (FTPC) related to work orders and Critical to Quality (CTQ’s).

Strong technical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing work setting.

One or more years of experience in electrical assembly or electrical manufacturing environment is considered an asset.

Perform assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information.

Follow established procedures/work instructions for assigned function.

Handle materials in accordance with established procedures.

Perform routine maintenance on all plant equipment in area of assignment as required.

Excellent time management, organizational & creative problem-solving skills

Reading/editing patterns, applying knowledge of technical construction such as conventional sewing & bonding techniques to create functional prototypes

5– 8 years minimum industry experience in pattern making & garment assembly experience (preferably development through production)

Strong technical and fit knowledge of performance and ready to wear tailoring product (materials/fabric, construction & body movement)

Knowledge of product creation calendar timelines & able to work against deadlines

Proficiency in MS office (Excel/Word/Outlook), Smartsheet, Adobe Illustrator, PLM software, Gerber Pattern Making & 3D software experience (CLO/Browzwear)

Strong communication skills and passion for building next generation products and experiences

Over 2-3+ years of experience developing interactive software for mobile and web applications, or real-time systems

Strong Python skills (most back-end systems are written in Python)

Experience on both the design and engineering side with the ability to speak both languages

Familiarity with prototype tech (UX design and implementing UI frameworks)

Solid understanding of various web development frameworks

High School Education/GED OR 1 year of related experience

Sometimes required to read basic and generic mechanical and electrical drawings (wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings).

Troubleshoot assembly problems and issues and completion of minimal wiring procedures.
