Project Risk Management Professional Jobs

Assist the Project Risk Management team in supporting the risk management process across Cenovus Downstream & Midstream portfolio.

Provide general support towards ongoing COIMS activities, as they relate to project risk management, specifically COIMS Element 3.

Assist with the updates of risk management content on the PME website, SharePoint and Power BI Risk Dashboard.

Support reporting activities of the Project Risk Management team, including monthly risk updates on the SharePoint site.

The individual is self-motivated and proactive to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks and project requirements.

Possess excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint).

Strong knowledge of project management best practices and a track record of successful delivery. PMP designation is an asset.

4 years+ experience as a Project Manager supporting construction, design or engineering projects.

Managing project reporting activities: monitor project progress and provide required project reports to Senior Project Manager/client.

Excellent listening and critical thinking skills, sound judgement.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Mitigating and monitoring risk: implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize potential negative impacts; and coordinate risk response activities.

Provide support to the Director Basel Compliance and the Vice President Enterprise Risk Management, including:

Where appropriate, assist program business streams with Project Management deliverables.

Maintain/manage and inventory the completeness of project documentation as appropriate.

Manage the content of the Basel PMO mailbox.

Prepare weekly program reporting, including program dashboards, status summary, and share with stakeholders.

Create process/ workflow charts and diagrams as required.

Must possess good written and oral presentation skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively to senior management.

Reporting: Provide periodic reports of program status and progress to management.

Ability to supervise complex projects including development of plans for scope, timeline, budget, issue management and managing change

Experience in using JIRA, Confluence, Portfolio, Agile methodology, Waterfall and MS office

Experience building and managing a project schedule using MS project or similar GANTT charts

Experience managing multiple vendors to deliver the full scope of projects

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in using remote sensing devices and capture-mark-recapture techniques to monitor mammal species in remote settings.

Considerable experience in coordinating and managing wildlife-related field projects in remote environments, using non-invasive and capture-mark-recapture methods.

Personal suitability in mentoring and the daily management of technicians and students.

Experience in coordinating and managing wildlife sample collection in a laboratory setting.

Demonstrated experience in data analyses using GIS and R software

Demonstrated experience in report writing, including peer-reviewed reports or publications.

Strong process facilitation and project management skills

This role is remote in California or Oregon.

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Five to seven years of applicable experience

Five or more years of experience underwriting SBA and conventional business banking credit requests.
