Assist in coordinating the daily operational functions of the department to ensure all production plans and strategies are implemented appropriately

Facilitate communications and relationships with internal staff, external vendors, and freelances

Obtaining quotes for print from printing vendors; overseeing printing process and ensuring quality and timeliness

Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe InDesign

Preparing and issuing cut lists to the shop floor to facilitate productivity requirements

Identifying gaps in material requirements and coordinating with the procurement team to ensure delivery of material aligns with fabrication schedules

Ability to manage time, shift priorities and focus as needs of the projects change

Experience with Steel Fabrication processes and scheduling is an asset

preparing and issuing cut lists to the shop floor to facilitate productivity requirements

Coordinating with the plant production planners to ensure timely delivery of cut lists in alignment with the weekly fabrication schedule.

Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability successfully drive multiple projects concurrently. Detail-oriented, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Experience in pre-press production management with a strong understanding of print and production processes.

Knowledge of print production. Experience working in direct mail.

Degree or post-secondary diploma in a related discipline or a combination of education, training, and experience.

Work closely with designers to coordinate deadlines and help manage work flow.

Manage campaigns through the timeline, including liaising with key stakeholders, approvers, and creative team.

Report to management regularly and communicate effectively

2+ years' Production Coordinator experience
