Time management and organization skills required

Minimum of five (5) years clinical nursing experience required.

Knowledge of individual insurance products, including traditional life and universal life, would be an asset.

Knowledge of program development, planning and budgeting, municipal resource management and funding business processes.

Advance knowledge of community well-being approaches.

Strong knowledge of Community Safety and Well-being Strategies (e.g. Collaborative Risk Driven Approaches, Situation Tables, Community Crisis Intervention and Prevention).

Experience with project management and time tracking software

Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning, organizational, and time-management skills.

5+ years experience in a regulatory compliance and financial services role or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience capturing and documenting complex regulatory requirements and resulting operational impacts

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field

Prior experience drafting policies and procedures at a financial institution is desirable

Utilization of change management strategies to lead projects and initiatives within the policy office portfolio

Knowledge and experience in policy drafting preferred

Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines

Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of evidence-based approaches to inform policy development, organizational planning, and quality improvement initiatives
