Grade twelve (12) education is required

Must have valid Serve-It-Right (SIRs) certification

Working knowledge of computers and various programs

Demonstrated experience in customer experience would be an asset

Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements.

Working knowledge of summer and winter maintenance operations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it relates to maintenance activities.

Working knowledge of the environment and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

Minimum three (3) years' experience in construction, road maintenance, commercial/industry repair, maintenance or landscaping (outdoor work) (Preferred)

Performing duties of shift supervisor during the winter maintenance season.

Assisting supervisor in/or completing, as directed, the organizing/planning of work to be carried out on a daily/weekly basis,

Ensures the ice surface is safe

Supervises skaters on the ice ensuring a fun and safe environment

Enforces rules and regulations following policies and procedures

Monitors supplies and program needs including performing inventory

Operates the arena’s sound system, making session announcements

Minimum grade 12 education, or equivalent is required;

Previous work experience inEnforcement or Park Operations;

Experience and comfort in operating a wide variety of equipment and machinery

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Protecting people and property and supporting safe development

Providing natural spaces and recreational opportunities
