Overview A Patient Sitter is a healthcare professional who provides companionship and supervision to patients who are unable to be left alone due to medical or behavioral conditions. They are responsible for monitoring the patient’s condition, providing comfort and support, and helping to ensure the patient’s safety. Detailed Job Description Patient Sitters are responsible for providing companionship and supervision to patients who are unable to be left alone due to medical or behavioral conditions. They must be able to recognize changes in the patient’s condition and respond appropriately. They must be able to provide comfort and support to the patient, and help to ensure their safety. Patient Sitters must also be able to communicate effectively with the patient, their family, and other healthcare professionals. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred

• Knowledge of infection control protocols
