Part Time Weekend Custodian Jobs

Please note that this is a remote, weekend, part-time role.

This is a school building located off Hwy 364 & Mid Rivers Mall Dr.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, and experience working in a residential setting an asset;

Knowledge and experience in responding to crisis situations, and de-escalating conflict;

Experience working with diverse individuals and groups e.g. cultural diversity, gender, abilities, religion, race, sexual orientation, etc.;

Demonstrate knowledge of and experience working with women living with experiences of precarious housing, poverty, violence/trauma, and mental health/concurrent addictions issues;

Knowledge and experience working from an anti-oppression framework and trauma informed practice;

1 to 3 years directly related experience within supportive housing;

Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification would be an asset SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:

Completion of high school. Any specialized training or experience would be considered an asset

First Aid & CPR Certification

Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards

Ensure compliance with all COVID-19 protocols and requirements.

Gain experience in the business side of cooking - learn about food costing and time management

A passion for cooking - no experience necessary, we'll train you!

Willingness to learn and expand your knowledge, as well as grow as an individual

Take Care of Each Other and Yourself

Learn various stations include but not limited to: Cold/fry, flat top/grill/broiler, pizza, and prep/line set up

Prepare fresh ingredients, unique Canadian Brewhouse recipes and send out only top-quality dishes

Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club Manager.

Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediately.

Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floor.

Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.

Punctuality and reliability is a must.

Honesty and exceptional work ethic.

Develops and maintains an understanding of the financial crime management processes, frameworks and techniques.

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications:

Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements as they apply to financial crimes is an asset.

Knowledge of banking products, services, processes, and organization is an asset.

Verbal & written communication skills - Good.

Collaboration & team skills - Good.

Located within a 5 minute walk from Du College station (orange line) and offering free parking

General maintenance of the warehouse (organizing and cleaning)

Sorting, organizing and stocking inventory products

Supporting and assisting other warehouse personnel

Able to follow instructions and work independently

Able to lift up to 50 lbs (25 kg)

Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club Manager.

Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediately.

Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floor.

Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.

Must be able to work overnight hours (10:00pm to 6:00am).

Punctuality and reliability is a must.
