Overview A Newspaper Carrier is responsible for delivering newspapers to customers on a daily basis. They are responsible for ensuring that newspapers are delivered on time and in good condition. They must also be able to handle customer complaints and inquiries. Detailed Job Description A Newspaper Carrier is responsible for delivering newspapers to customers on a daily basis. They must be able to read and understand the newspaper’s delivery instructions and routes. They must also be able to follow the delivery instructions accurately and efficiently. Newspaper Carriers must be able to handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner. They must also be able to collect payments from customers and ensure that all payments are made in a timely manner. Job Skills Required• Good customer service skills
• Ability to read and understand delivery instructions
• Ability to follow delivery instructions accurately and efficiently
• Ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry newspapers
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of local geography
• Knowledge of newspaper delivery routes
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Knowledge of safety procedures
Job Experience
• Previous experience in newspaper delivery is preferred
• Previous experience in customer service is preferred
Job Responsibilities
• Deliver newspapers to customers on a daily basis
• Read and understand delivery instructions
• Follow delivery instructions accurately and efficiently
• Handle customer complaints and inquiries
• Collect payments from customers
• Ensure that all payments are made in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and safe delivery vehicle
• Report any issues or problems to the supervisor
