Mould Maintenance Apprentice Jobs

Grade 12 education or equivalent

Certificate of qualification – Mould Maker

Good English (both written and verbal) communication skills

Must possess strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to determine root cause and recommend countermeasures

Knowledge of Mould design / Function / Spot in lifters and slides

Good organizational and time management skills

Adhere to applicable quality systems and Support the total Tycos Management System (MAFACT, WCM, ISO-9001)

College diploma in a Trade or Technical Field (i.e. Mould Maker Apprentice), or equivalent experience, an asset

Experience in the automotive industry an asset, preferably in an injection moulding environment

Previous experience as a Mould Maker, an asset

Good knowledge of mold making practices, standards and expectations

Any reasonable requests by management, perform other duties as assigned.

Familiar with and understand the requirements to lockout equipment.

Effective English verbal and written communication skills.

Ensure all assigned Mould Repair Orders are logged into the CMMS system and completed in a timely manner.

Work with Production Supervisors to prioritize tool repairs when required on night shifts and weekends.

Maintain all spare parts for tools and necessary operating supplies for area as assigned.
