Must have direct experience in the administration of the Environmental Assessment Process.

Must have project administration experience.

Must have experience in a computerized environment, including MS Word, Access and PowerPoint.

Should have knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, its regulations and knowledge of the hazards associated with work.

Must have a track record of delivering accurate schedule information, reporting and guidance to senior management.

Experience within an Oil & Gas, Chemical processing or related business and equivalent projects a further benefit.

Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project experience is a must. Experience using risk and schedule quality analysis software desirable.

A minimum of 10 years of related work experience, with at least 3 years of related leadership experience.

Previous experience in open pit mining is considered an asset.

Good observational and analytical skills.

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (minimum requirement).

Recommended to have Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Assist in front-end planning and prepare reports for management support.

Evaluate contractor schedules, assess contractor's scheduling capabilities, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in scheduling and planning brownfield projects at Oil & Gas industry facilities.

Possess certification in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, Gantt Charts, and resource planning using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera).

Strong underground mine operation experience, which includes underground construction and project execution experience.

Experience with Deswik CAD, Deswik Ops, and, Deswik Shed is preferred.

Expert level organizational skills and the ability to multi-task coupled with the ability to effectively prioritize and solve problems.

High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Conduct preliminary surveys and studies of ore deposits to assess the economic and environmental feasibility of potential mining operations.
