Trades (electricians, millwrights, machinists, technicians, mechanics, welders, etc.)

Assist the CFO/VP Finance in maintaining relevant financial records for Management, Board of Directors and External Stakeholders

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the accounting and finance sector, overseeing accountants and financial processes.

Collaborate with site teams across the business, promoting ongoing improvement and knowledge sharing.

Supervise and manage day-to-day financial operations, including full-cycle accounting, account reconciliations,

Preferred 2-5 years of experience in the mining industry.

At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.

In-depth knowledge of procure-to-pay supply management processes.

Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements and best practices.

Expedite orders and manage outstanding Purchase Orders on a daily basis.

3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role within mining or an industrial environment.

Experience with business computer systems - ERPs (purchasing, expedite, warehousing, transportation, and inventory control).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Continuously seek to improve technical knowledge and skills.

Ensure current and future training requirements are met, and develop clear progression paths for the team.

A minimum of 10 years of related work experience, with at least 3 years of related leadership experience.

Previous experience in open pit mining is considered an asset.

Good observational and analytical skills.

Strong underground mine operation experience, which includes underground construction and project execution experience.

Experience with Deswik CAD, Deswik Ops, and, Deswik Shed is preferred.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Conduct preliminary surveys and studies of ore deposits to assess the economic and environmental feasibility of potential mining operations.

Ensure adherence to Conuma’s environmental policy, work standards, management plans and regulatory obligations and requirements.

Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.

Implement daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans and objectives, in accordance with production plan requirements.

Stay abreast of all relevant legal and legislative requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience required in an open pit mining environment.
