High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification in retail, hospitality, tourism, or customer service would be a valuable asset.

Excellent verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in a second language, especially French, would be advantageous.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively inform visitors and shoppers and represent the ROM's brand through retail sales.

Comfortable working in crowded environments and skilled at handling public inquiries and basic complaints with tact and diplomacy.
